“As the municipality that most closely borders this project, the Town of Glenville will be significantly impacted by Rivers Casino. Although it’s best for all parties that the City of Schenectady and Schenectady County continue to succeed, it’s also critical that the town continues the redevelopment of its commercial corridors. Rivers Casino & Resort, the state and the county must help provide for the redevelopment of Freemans Bridge Road, which is one of the county’s most important commercial corridors and soon-to-be “Northern and Eastern Gateways” to this destination point,” said Supervisor Chris Koetzle.
